The Royal Mile from The Castle to the palace at Holyrood is packed full of fascinating Scottish history. Almost every step of the Royal Mile has a story to tell and each building oozes history. There has been a lot of changes over the years and many businesses have come and gone but The Royal Mile still attracts the most attention from tourists and is very busy during the annual Edinburgh Festival.
Our Royal Mile website was our first Edinburgh Site. Conceived in 2003 and launched in 2005.
